Dunya Zahma privacy policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Dunya Zahma is a mobile game in which you drive through the streets of Cairo, take riders where they need to go, and learn words from other languages. It is developed by Ahmed Elgawesh, the developer of the Dunya games.
In short: we do not collect any personal data, and your progress is saved only on your own phone. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, which uses data from your device as described below.
What we collect
- Nothing. There is no account or sign-in, and the game never asks for your name, email, phone number, location, photos or contacts.
- Your progress: coins, story chapter, unlocked characters, the words you learned and your settings (such as language and radio station) are saved only on your phone and are never sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes them.
- Reading words aloud: the game uses the text-to-speech engine already on your phone (for example Google's speech services). The game itself does not send the text anywhere. The first time a language is used, your phone may download its voice.
- Ads (Google AdMob): the game has rewarded ads that you choose to watch (for example a free repair or double coins); no ads interrupt the game. They are served by Google AdMob, which may collect from your device: the advertising ID, device and app information, approximate location from your IP address, and your interactions with ads — to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. This happens under Google's policy; we never see or store this data.
- Your ad choices: in the EEA and the UK the game first asks whether you agree to personalised ads. Anywhere, you can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
- Analytics and purchases: the game has no other analytics or tracking tools and no in-app purchases.
- Restaurants and the "Bites bel Arabi" app: characters mention well-known places to eat in Cairo and the recipe app "Bites bel Arabi". This is only text in the game; nothing is opened, installed or sent automatically.
Children
The game is meant for players aged 13 and over, and its ads are limited to family-friendly content. We do not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If the game changes we may update this page; the "Last updated" date above shows when.
